Robert E. Lee Soil & Water Conservation District Offering two $2,000 Scholarships”
Two $2,000 scholarships are available to high school seniors and college freshmen interested in studying conservation and natural resources. Any student with a desire to study college curriculum related to the environment, ecology, agriculture, forestry, wildlife, aquatics, and similar fields is encouraged to apply. These scholarships are sponsored by the Robert E. Lee Soil & Water Conservation District. Interested students can email Katelin Savage at k.savage@releeconservation.com or you may find the application on the VASWCD website. Applications for the 2023 cycle will be released in November 2022. Applicants must reside in one of the following localities: Amherst, Appomattox, and Campbell counties, or the city of Lynchburg.

- High School Senior
- Demonstrated interest in natural resources and the environment
- Enrolled in a college level curriculum
- Reside in Amherst, Appomattox, Campbell County or City of Lynchburg
