2022 Scholarship Winners! 

CONGRATULATIONS to our scholarship winners Ella Lewis from Amherst, VA and Andrew Gallier from Appomattox, VA. Every year two $2000 scholarships are made available to high school seniors and college freshmen with a desire to study college curriculum related to the environment, ecology, agriculture, forestry, wildlife, aquatics, and similar fields. Applicants must reside in one of following localities: Amherst, Appomattox, Campbell County, or the City of
Lynchburg.

Robert E. Lee Soil & Water Conservation District Offering two $2,000 Scholarships”

Two $2,000 scholarships are available to high school seniors and college freshmen interested in studying conservation and natural resources. Any student with a desire to study college curriculum related to the environment, ecology, agriculture, forestry, wildlife, aquatics, and similar fields is encouraged to apply. These scholarships are sponsored by the Robert E. Lee Soil & Water Conservation District. Interested students can email Lauran Campbell at l.campbell@releeconservation.com or you may find the application on the VASWCD website. Applications are due in the Spring to the Robert E. Lee soil and Water Conservation District Office by April 1, 2022. Applicants must reside in one of the following localities: Amherst, Appomattox, and Campbell counties, or the city of Lynchburg.
