This years’ conference theme is, “Alternative Forages for Grazing Systems: Unlocking Your Farms Production Potential.” The main speakers for this years’ conference are Dr. Matt Poore, Ruminant Nutrition Extension Specialist from NC State University and Dr. Pat Keyser, Professor and Director of the Center for Native Grasslands Management at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Poore will be sharing his knowledge and experience of using annual forages in livestock production systems and Dr. Keyser will share how native warm season forages can be established and used throughout Virginia to complement our cool season forage base.
